We're Off to See....the Black Forest

.....and we'll be taking our bread crumbs with us! Or maybe just a GPS. :-)

Emilee needs a break from her studies and tests, and hopefully we'll have a little breather from the hot weather here and get into the forest and foothills of the Alps in the Black Forest. We will head to Triberg, possibly with a stop in Baden-Baden. It's about a 3 hour trip by train. Triberg is where the Wasserfall (waterfall) is...supposedly the biggest waterfall in Germany. Although it is not really a waterfall but rather an "inclined stream". But it is supposed to be very pretty and the hiking is supposed to be great, as well. In town....well, in town are shops galore with cuckoo clocks, wooden everything, and "authentic" black forest cake. Emilee and I just might have to indulge. Maybe we'll just have the cake before the hike, and then we can walk it off. Yea, that sounds like a plan....
